Justice Flarum is not 100% stable, but I think you can use it in production without too many problems. About the price, it's free and it seems like it will stay that way.
Prosperous As answered above, but I thought I would clarify. Flarum is currently in beta therefore is not stable. Stable is due to be released soon however so keep your eyes peeled and look out for any announcements on this forum. Flarum will always be free. ?

Stable as in "does it hold bugs" I can say that Flarum is very stable, with a small exception here and there. But what the core team means with stable is whether the code is fluctuant, currently it is. In fact the upcoming release is guaranteed to be breaking backward compatibility. As such all existing extensions have to be updated in order for them to work.
Prosperous oussema Things like content and users shouldn't get broken or lost. What luceos has highlighted is that all existing extensions would have to be updated by their creators in order for them to function correctly once stable comes around. If you are using Flarum out-of-the-box then you will more than likely not encounter any issues when updating to later releases.
