Error during installation

Hello everyone, I tried to install flarum on my server and it worked the first time. After moving/editing/deleting some files I decided to reinstall flarum and recreate the database. As soon as I click "Install flarum" with the right login credentials I get the following error:

"Something went wrong: Migration file should contain an array with up/down."

Does anyone know what this means? I can't figure it out and would like to use flarum ?

SjoerdvanBommel it would help if you'd explain what exactly you changed. The error is caused by a database migration file not returning an associative array with an up and down key...

I removed all the files from my server and reinstalled flarum, so I don't think it matters what I changed (or does it still?).

Can you check storage/logs/flarum.log maybe it shows a full error trace.

This file doesn't exist. Can I check any other log file or something?

If I try exactly the same on my local pc it works just fine. All I do is send the files to my FTP before installing flarum (insert databasename etc.), but somehow it gives this error.

Copying over your files from your local environment to the server has a few drawbacks. The foremost being that the composer installation takes place on a different environment and as such the dependencies haven't been checked and (seeing you run into an issue) most likely are causing an error..

as you stated that you recreated your database. Have you tried to check the tables that your mysql database have created? If possible, check the tables and delete those and do a fresh installation again.

Thanks for the help by the way guys! I don't know how, but the problem was solved somehow, I reinstalled flarum and deleted the database on the server and retried everything and it worked. ?
I'm sorry for not having any kind of solution for other people, but at least I am rid of it. ?
