"POST NULL" when trying to register

Hey,
I just reinstalled flarum on my server (running Ubuntu 16.04), and whenever anyone tries to register they get the error

"POST http://www.xxxxxxxxx.net/community/api/davis/inviteonly/register

null"

Disabling the Invite-Only plugin just gives me another link.
I dont know why it happens, it just started to happen, then i tried reinstalling my Flarum, but that hasn't resolved it.

Sorry if its not really understandable.
Hope it can get resolved, im thankful for any help.

fixed it. had to use the exact same url as specified in the config, so you cant leave http:// or www, you have to use it.

need to set up forwarding to www then if people visit my site without it
