There may be a tutorial eventually, but since we're still in beta, not yet (unfortunately).

What exactly do you want to customise? If you give some details, somebody here may be able to offer some pointers.

Flarum doesn't have that capability at the moment, but the possibility of adding an extension to support that sort of thing has been discussed in the past. It's quite likely that it will be added eventually, if not as part of the default package, then as a third-party extension.

In the meantime, you might consider putting your own portal page on site.com and install Flarum in a subdirectory. Then you could use a header link in Flarum to link to the portal. Check out the "Home" link at the top of this page for an idea of how that would work.

Good point ... fortunately, the next beta shouldn't be too far away.

You mean you want to be able to use content from Flarum in the portal?

That would take a bit of work. It's not something we could help you do with the current beta release. Your best bet will probably be to wait a while until Flarum's functionality is more fleshed out. Eventually, someone will add the functions you need to accomplish your goals.

Ahhh, I see I wasn't familiar with the use of that term on the web. Probably because I don't use Facebook at all. I was thinking that "Impressum" was just the name you wanted to use for your portal page. 😛

In any event, the process of creating the page would be the same, and the use of Flarum content on the Impressum page would take a bit of work ... so my answer remains the same.

Hang in there ... Flarum is still beta, so it's bound to be missing a few features you want.

If you like, you could create a new thread under the Features tag and request this feature. (I don't recall anyone asking for an Impressum page before now.) Be sure to add specific information about the sort of content you might want on the page, how the page would work (in terms of sharing content etc.) within the Flarum site as a whole, and anything else you can think of that will help people get a better idea of what you're looking for.

Even if that feature isn't eventually included in Flarum, your request may inspire some intrepid programmer to create exactly the extension you need.

Well, you can try to get data from the forum by using the API. If you know your way around with JavaScript, you can probably do this on the client side...
