Hello there, I am trying to find a forum that can be managed by individuals and allows them to add / maintain their own subforums. It would be a forum for developers, most of the devs have their own projects, so I am trying to find a forum in which each dev (or team of devs) can manage and maintain their own subforum or category of the overall forum. Some might have multiple projects that they work on. Though it is important that each dev can only moderate their own assigned project forum.
It would be great if each (project) subforum could have their own static content, such as a FAQ, or something of that nature. I suppose a stickied post would suffice. I know it is a long shot, but I am also ultimately looking for a way that each project can have a list of secured downloads/patches for their particular project that only approved members of that specific project/subforum are allowed to download. It will be up to the dev/moderator of that particular project to be able to modify a user requesting access to download those files, but only be able to approve downloading of projects from their own project and not anyone elses.
So I guess my main question is, is this something that Flarum might be able to do? I love the look an feel of this and would love to use it, but the feature set that I am looking for is the most important thing. I tried phpbb3, but it doesn't look like it will be able to handle what I am after.
