Sidebar-Tag Unread Count

As of now, tags are pretty static. I think they should be used to display a unread count and use the background element to identify that there are unread posts. If you click on it, it should also display the unread count of each sub-tag (so # of tags per primary tag == primary tag unread + cumulative subtag unreads)

Also. I think if you click on the (1) It should switch to a sort-by-unread (which doesn't exist yet)

That's a very interesting suggestion Kulga ...

I've noticed recently that I really only click tags when I want to find a topic that had dropped off the first screen's worth of the All Discussions list. So in my case, beyond that occasional use, they're really only serving as a guide to the types of topics that are available in the site.

Adding an unread post count could give me a reason to use the tags more often!

There should be a feature with tags to put in a separator.
Something very simple and permitting drag and drop
It's a completely UX thing that helps people quickly scan content by "jumping" from section to section rather then slowly going through the whole list looking for something specific.

(I went through issues on github this time after Toby - 99% sure this doesn't already exist - this time)

But I'm glad I commented, the fact that I haven't been clicking tags much has been bothering me lately.
