Cannot open admin page

Hi,
every time i try to open the admin page i get the following error:
Flarum \ Http \ RouteNotFoundException (404)
What do i have to do?

Did you set up rewrite rules? What webserver do you run? Apache/nginx?

HI,
i uploaded the standart .htaccess included in the package. Do i have to edit rewritebase?
I installed flarum in the subdirectory like http://xxx.de/garten
My Webserver is a shared host, running apache, php 5.6 as fastcgi

Hmm my .htaccess looks like this:

Didnt change anything....

Well, you did apparently add the RewriteBase. What happens when you remove that?

Hi,
sry guys had to work alot and no time.
No i tried to install beta2, but i still get the same error.
I installed with the standart .htaccess file.
Now i can access the "settings"page, but its "404" if i try to access "profile" or "administration".

Silly question, but are you sure that you ran these commands at some point?

sudo a2enmod rewrite
sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

FetchTheDev The OP won't be able to run these commands as they will require root access
I certainly hope the system admin running this shared hosting had enough wits to enable rewrite 😉

Kulga Yes u right its not possible for me because im on a shared host.
The only thing is that i installed the forum in a subfolder.

Benni Your problem is surely that you have another .htaccess in your root directory, after the one in the /flarum subdirectory. Or maybe it's a subdirectory bug.

Can you try to add this, to end of the flarum's .htaccess file (after the </IfModule>) :

Order allow, deny
Allow from all

Let me know if it's working or no.

Yes i have another .htaccess in the root directory that redirects always to https and to the url without www.
If i add the code u wrote to the .htaccess in the flarum directory the forum is broken.
The strange thing for me is that the settingspage is working, but the administration is not nor can i add a post.
