If a user posts a comment that is replied to and then for whatever reason the replier decides to delete their reply:
The user that made the original post gets a email notification of post reply and the reply comment is included in email notification.
When the replier has second thoughts or absentmindedly decides to delete their reply;
The original poster does not get notified that the reply was deleted and clicks on link to reply and looks like a moron because the reply contents included in the notification email is no longer there on the forum.
Common decency should require the replier that deleted their own reply to admit/include reason for the deletion and that the original reply be preserved.
Lets be bold and brave so that we regret nothing we do or say. We shall not judge as we all have a reason for existing and none of us will fail. If life is a bridge then we must pass over it, less we forget and waste our time trying to live and struggle just to build a house upon it.
