Htaccess smf help

Hello,

Can someone help me for create the redirect rules from smf?

I tried different solutions but cannot make it work.

From index.php?topic=123 should redirect to d/123-placeholder

RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} topic=([\d])
RewriteRule index.php?$ /d/%1-(.)? [R=301,L]

this is what i came up. is working but probably can be improved.

for example this
topic=29302.0 redirects to d/293-

still cant figured why. if someone with more experience with regex can help me would be appreciated .

Your matching pattern seems to match only one digit. Maybe it should be more like (\d+) or even (\d+)$ so you're certain it matches until the end of the querystring.

I don't understand why it can currently match 3 digits :thinking_face:

[] are probably not needed as you're matching against a single alias.

Why do you need to create rewrite rules for SMF on the Flarum's discussion forum ?
