RelatedTitle jordanjay29 uhhh Idk I'll have to ask my host about that one. It's not a vps so I don't actually manage it. Only cpanel. Probably linux
MajoMaslo @RelatedTitle Hello my friend, For properly working Flarum installation, you will need at least 2GB of free space on your HDD. I know, it's too much, Flarum is small, just trust me. Because you have a cPanel, you can find informations about your hard drives here.
MajoMaslo RelatedTitle So, it's working now, yes? If yes, just press Like button, you don't need to reply, thanks :-)
RelatedTitle MajoMaslo I'm not trying to be rude or anything but why should I like you if you just said I needed 2 gb which I do have and I stated that it was working fine before
jordanjay29 MajoMaslo we often request that OPs intentionally state whether a solution has worked and that the issue is closed.
RelatedTitle I FIGURED IT OUT So I just downloaded everything to my pc, deleted flarum but not extensions, re-installed flarum zipped it uploaded extract, take a bit to load because of css and all that stuff. And boom! done. also admins please add the solved tag
RelatedTitle Also the thing that triggered it is trying to install an extension so I have to now do it here and upload it, which I'm actually not to bad about because it installs them much much much more faster
Frink RelatedTitle I do agree with that, composer runs much quicker on a local installation. I believe it is because there is a lot more memory (in my case, 16gb), and I also have a SSD, which makes it really fast!
RelatedTitle Frink Yes! And I don't have to download everything as I just keep it there. Great for when you are settuping and just looking for the best extensions and installing them ?
