Brand new install, 504 Gateway Time-out

I was installing today to play around with this software. Love how it looks, excited to see where it goes. I have installed twice now, deleting everything and starting from scratch the first time to see if I did anything wrong. I am able to put my database info in, but once I click the Install button it just spins forever and eventually gives the "504 Gateway Time-out" error.

One time, after refreshing about 10 times, I got it to come up with one page without timing out - as in, it looked installed and ready to go. But when I clicked to go to the admin, same story, and now I can't access the homepage again either.

Anyone have any ideas on where I go from here?

Lumo Please post the output of php flarum info

Also, please check if debug is enabled in your config.php file. SSH to the root of your flarum folder, and enter the following commands:

nano config.php

If debug is set to false then set it to true. Go back to your browser, refresh the page, and see if it gives you an error.

Frink php flarum info won't work if Flarum isn't installed.

We need to see what is in the error logs (storage/logs/flarum.log),
and if it's empty then (/var/log/nginx/error.log or /var/log/apache/error.log).

Anticlimactic, but I gave up on it for the day and when I came back yesterday evening it was just working ?. Thanks for the offer of help though!
