Ability to hide Secondary Tags from the tag list

Well, I'm quite surprised to see how fast Flarum developed since its initial Kickstarter. It's been fun trying to break the software.
Anyways I would like to see a feature to hide selected secondary tags from the tags list. As example this would be a nice feature for gaming community's to mark a application as accepted or declined while avoiding cluttering up the tags list.

It's worth considering as a further development of the tags extension, maybe.

Maybe in permissions that's only exposed during "restrict by tag"? Something like - Allow to use tag and ability to assign groups, set to members, admin, etc.

We're a little confused by this. I'm using the Restrict by Tag feature to assign grouped members to certain sub-categories in a main Projects category, and those discussions are set as viewable by everyone, as desired -- View discussions: Everyone. . But I would have thought that status would still allow those discussions to appear in the main lists.

I like the restrict by tag feature, but it all seems to be missing a mechanism tied to the View discussions field if the value is set as Everyone. If everyone can view discussions there, then everyone should see the discussion activity in the main lists too. But if the value is just Members, or any specific group, that's when it would be restricted to the categorical view only, ideally speaking.

I guess this is just one of those limitations I'm hitting in absence of more robust groups handling?

In our case we want the ability to restrict posting rights to a certain group per sub-category, but as long as those categories are still public readable, then we want discussion activity shown in the main lists to, which helps bring exposure to the projects, and perhaps recruit new group members in those collaborative projects. Otherwise it's just hidden discussion and not advertising itself.

Maybe I found a bug, don't know...

I had a group restriction set on our primary CSF Projects tag/category, which was the context in my notes previously above. But then I deleted that particular restriction and created another for the secondary Glossary category. At that point I would have expected the one discussion in the other secondary group, Real-time salary survey, to have appeared in the main list, since it's not in the Glossary category that has the restriction. But it doesn't show up in the main list.

Any idea why?
