Aesahaettr From what I can see Beta 3 consists of way more changes than Beta 2. As such this will take a little longer in comparison to the last release cycle.
luceos I cry
can you recommend to use this in client project? or there are some bugs?
zee It's not even in beta yet, aka yes bugs all over the place. Don't use in production unless you're ready to upkeep that site once a month until beta is out.
How easy is this to install compared to Discourse?
AdamTheMinccino One minute install, you just have to provide db name, user, pass, admin name, pass and email. Oh, and tables prefix. Then you're done, you click on Install and the forum is ready to go! 🙂
Dakoom is it a simple web based install?
AdamTheMinccino Yes! (If you use it with PHP, MySQL)
Dakoom awesome! I'll try it out!
Dakoom I've set it up if you wanna look at it: http://chespinonline.co/forum
@Franz @Toby How long for release beta 3?
Tyler When it's done. Beta 3 consists of far more changes than any release before.
luceos Now I'm smarter! ... Not.
I'm soooo in love with FLARUM, what an incredible job, just brilliant! Will donate and will costumize!
@Toby Is there anywhere to look at information about how you are planning your SSO system to work? My group currently uses Vanilla forum but we have been keeping a close eye on Flarum. I love what you have done, however the most important feature for us is having a custom SSO system as we are a game developer and we prefer to user our game API for authentication.
Couldn't wait for Flarum to go final release. I've been waiting for a forum software like this.
I know nothing compares to this, and I've seen all of them, at least the well known ones. I'll put the next beta up on a test forum once it's out.
Expect final release, I will build a community
This software is looking really good so far.
I just got here (by chance, mind you), and I love what I see! I'm definitely going to follow Flarum, and if possible help translate it (not much of a coder).
