I can't wait till this is fully completed since I will be using this extension on my Flarum as well. It looks like you hit all of my major things that something of this nature should have, the only other thing I could suggest is maybe having an option to limit specific usergroups to only X discussion topics in a given time period (thus no one will spam over and over if their product doesn't sell, or will try to include it all in every single secondary tag if there is a limit on how many you can use).

Interesting thread -- I like the idea of a classifieds 'template' so to speak, and recall that http://www.pentaxforums.com also use a predefined template for the classifieds section as seen here:

Thanks for the screenshot ron_jeremy ... I've been wondering what the Pentax template looked like ever since you mentioned in your thread about post templates. Of course I couldn't see it without creating an account there.

It seems to me that much of the functionality needed for a Classifieds extension could be realized as a more generic templating extension of the sort that you proposed. A reasonable plan of attack could be to aim for the creation of a Templating extension that everyone can use, then design the Classifieds extension as an addon that would be dependent on the functionality in the Templating extension.

Hey guys, I'm new to the community and I wish to develop this extension, so I would like to have some guidance throughout the development - preferably from someone who has already implemented an extension before. I've read "get started" in the documentation.
