Extensions in basic package

Hi guy, I was thinking about what applications should be included in default or basic download package (I mean, that package you can download from this official site). Of course, those applications have to be updated an be full compatibles with current version of flarum.

anyway, for now we have extensions like emoji, sticky, flags and pusher integration ?

what of them would you like see there? ?

Are you talking about including existing third-party extensions or creating additional core extensions ?

Currently only core extensions (developed by the core team) are included with Flarum when downloading, and I don't think there's any plan to change it anytime soon.

clarkwinkelmann To elaborate, I have never seen any company release their forum software with third party extensions. It's just not common practice. Sometimes people can go the extra mile and fork their own versions to do so, but you just won't see it come from the core team.

yep, I'm talking about that package wich you have to download to install it in your server. Maybe could be two: core (without extensions) and basic (with 'official' extensions like emoji extension). For example, taking this forum as example of basic package, I think we need pm extension to send direct messages to developers and users intrested in flarum development.
