  • Can I add an image in the summary?

Hi,

I installed an extension of summaries. It looks perfect. I would like to know is there an extension to display the summary text along with an image?

    Should this be an image from each discussion or a generic one?

      If it can be for each discussion, that will be great.

      A generic image could be added with custom CSS.

      A varying image from each discussion would need an extension. I'm not aware that such an extension is already available.

      @wmchen Not the way that Summaries is coded now. It strictly takes the content from the post, strips most of the formatting, and outputs a truncated version as a summary. It's completely dependent on what you post, and images have been stripped out of the summary content since beta 6 iirc. You'd need someone else to fork my extension and provide that functionality, or do it yourself. It's really beyond the scope of what Summaries does.
