See above. How would I go about installing the latest beta release of the Gamification extension? (here: https://discuss.flarum.org/d/5588-gamification-by-reflar/206 ) I am on the latest release of Flarum and Bazaar. For some reason, Bazaar won’t grab the latest release. Is there a way to toggle its ability to grab betas? Or perhaps could I manually download, extract the files to vendor folder, and modify the requisite composer files and such for it to take?
What version are you seeing that is being installed by Bazaar currently? The latest release is Gamification version 3.0.0-beta.2 and that's what Bazaar should be installing.

Here you will see the version it should be grabbing when installing through the Bazaar marketplace.
Ralkage For some unexplainable reason, it is grabbing the last stable release and not wanting to grab the beta. Rather curious. Yet Bazaar then, after installing the last stable release, says it is outdated and offers to update, but it fails to grab the latest one. Even so, I will just take the workaround approach of using Composer and then transferring the extension from my local install of Flarum to my deployment. I imagine Bazaar is not configured internally to grab betas given the inherent risks.
Hifihedgehog Bazaar should be grabbing the latest version published on packagist. I'd start an issue on Bazaar's github if I were you.
