To be honest: I don't like it.

One of the first things I have always changed in old style forum softwares ist the very effect that you just created: Putting each post into a box and thus unnecessarily interrupting the reading flow. In my Flarum instance I even removed the single lines between posts (example).

I know it's a matter of taste, but you've asked for opinions, so that's mine.

I personally prefer the effect of having the different posts separated from the rest of the page by having a slightly different background.

This gives a clear separation and avoids the noise and clutter of repetitive lines (ahem).

Still... yay for customizing your own Flarum. ?

@Pollux At first I thought I would get confused not knowing when one users post ended and another began but soon after I browsed your forum, the lack of separators really appealed to me with the overall style of the forum.
It looks really nice and pleasing to the eyes. Excellent site.
