About the "navigation sidebar" on the left of the screen inside discussions

I have been visiting this site for a while now, only to follow this great software. I will not be using it until there is some kind of WYSIWYG editor, and an option to upload and attach images. But that's not the point.

The point is that I did not notice the slide in sidebar on the left side when inside a discussion until today. Only because my mouse did slide to the left of the screen did it pop out and showed me this navigation sidebar. I never knew it was there.

Should there not be some kind of visual hint to show the user that it is there ?

knat I agree with you, there is a visual indicator missing.

BlackSheep I click that arrow sometimes when that sidebar is open because my first impulse is, that it might be for collapsing that sidebar.

It also looks weird, that when you pin that sidebar with that pin button, that the content part doesn't change in size but moves to the right, and at the same time the top navigation bar expands to a widescreen mode.

There's the arrow in the top left corner. But yeah, that's not much.

I use a button on my mouse to go back a page, so maybe that is the reason i never used that arrow.

Also i think many regular forum users often click on the forums logo to get back to the forum index.

knat Me definitely, It's a nice feature but it's hardly noticeable.
