Ok I just did it as my first public extension.

composer require noriods/auto-more

It doesn't check what page it's on. It just checks for the button (on every forum page) and then clicks it if it's in the viewport. Seems to be working for me here:

The sharing was done with https://sumo.com/. I just added the Javascript in Admin > Appearance > Edit Custom Header.
