Flarum Extension Sharing for SEO

Hi all, I reboot this extension to compatible with beta 7 and add some features for SEO, please check it out ?

Install :

composer require ganuonglachanh/flarum-ext-sharing

Change log:
- Add canonical link to non slug URL like /d/69233/3
- Update to beta 7
- Remove non characters in Forum descriptions

NOTE: It is not compatible with radixi0 sharing extension, so do not install radixi0 sharing first.
If you are using radixi0, you should uninstall it and delete 3,4 radixi0 setting keys in the database then install this extension.

ganuonglachanh work well thanks ! in other side for me is now useless no ? i don't know maybe i don't have knowledge but its seems not adding so much thing to make people install it !

KazeroG Current default install of Flarum is lack of SEO support, this extension provide basic SEO like og tag, fb tag when sharing, description tag for discussion and canonical link for sitemap and Search Engine index.

Eldenroot You may want to be more detailed than that. Explaining your specific needs often helps extension creators understand what they can and cannot provide.

Quite difficult to describe - anyway I used this plugin in MyBB - https://github.com/frostschutz/MyBB-Google-SEO and SEO titles which generates titles and content

@ganuonglachanh When I tried to activate this extension I got an error. I know that’s pretty vague.

Anyone else having trouble installing this?

I installed the other developer's version first, then saw this one. That could be the issue. The original one I installed may not have fully uninstalled which is causing a conflict. If this is the issue, any advice on how to completely remove an extension and it's database additions? I used composer remove.

php flarum cache:clear
rm assets/rev-manifest.json
Browser hard refresh (CTRL+F5)

Or install the Reflar/Uncache extension instead.

jordanjay29 Yeah. As soon as I activate it, it says oops, something went wrong. But, I can install Radixi0's version with no problems.

ganuonglachanh I had a feeling that was it. But, I was being lazy and didn't want to go into the database. But, I went in and removed the rows in my database the previous version created and now it works. Thanks!

@ganuonglachanh you may want to put composer incompatibility attributes with regards to Radixi0's version and well as a small message in your first post stating that his extension will cause issues with your rewrite/fresh code.

A few things that I suggest and will help you out with:

Adding the conflict with radixi0/flarum-ext-sharing in your composer.json.
Changing your namespaces to reflect your own namespace to avoid any other conflicts.
Changing some of the values that will cause conflicts with a user's database due to existing settings/keys.
