Which means you could redirect Amazon links to something like https://mydomain/my-custom-redirect-script.php?url={theurl} or https://external-service/do-the-work?url={theurl} and then have the special switching logic in there.

Unfortunately that other extension is not compatible with the latest Flarum. Someone can fork it, or sponsor an update with me.

Justman10000 can you share the output of the php flarum info command in your Flarum folder so we can see your Flarum version and which extensions are installed?

There is likely a javascript error in the browser development console, checking the message might help. But it's not always obvious from the message which extension is causing the error to appear.

Could you add support for amzn.eu and any other shortened link that is currently being created by the Amazon App?
Nowadays many mobile users share those links and they're not dealt with by the extension.
They need to be resolved and only after being un-shortened they can be manipulated to inject or replace the tag.
