Really love this update but guess this can't be hosted on shared hosting from now :/ although my host offers me SSH keys, i'm not sure if its the same deal as mentioned in the requirements.. hopefully in the distant future we can run on shared hosting as we could before, that'd be great and accesible to all 🙂

So, this was my first experience with SSH and composer, but after some google research and about 2 hours of testing I was finally able to install Beta 3. Looks great, thank you very much!

Is it possible to have PHP files like in others versions ? I would like to update without using composer, I'm o mutualized server.

@Toby We know that this installation process is too difficult for some, not possible on all types of hosting, etc. and in that regard, yes, this is a step back from beta 2. But as I said, we are planning to address this in the future and make sure that Flarum is accessible to everyone. Please just be patient. 😄
