Good, wait for not use composer version. I was planned to update my site(http://www.wagtail.cn), but unfortunately, server not support composer installation. so now I use flarum-0.1.0-beta.2.

why in admin page show this text "Thanks for trying out Flarum! You are running version 0.1.0-beta.3. This is beta software, and should not be used in production."?

running version beta 3? should runing in beta 4

error?or bug?

and my admin page menu not clickabel (when it was updated to beta 4)

That was a mistake. We forgot to update the version number, I fixed that now, but it won't display for you until the next release.

For your other questions: please open separate discussion threads. This discussion is only meant for feedback and comments regarding the release itself. 🙂

adasiek Beta.4 will keep saying Beta.3 in the admin panel.

Any dev version from now on will say Beta.4.
Beta.5 will have the correct number, I hope. 😉

Biggest Flarum downfall at this moment is the image upload in the post composer. I know that we expect this great attachment extension, but for time being we could have simple image upload. Consider adding something in the next version since forum is unusable without it. Good luck with other composer 🙂

Webinsane True, I also hold with installation until this feature is enabled. Without attachments forums is unusable for me and my community.
Maybe developers would consider to prioritize this feature completion, as many people are waiting for it 🙂
