No image preview when sharing forum URL

Hi there,

so I just showed my new forum a friend of mine via whatsapp web and I noticed that there is no image in the preview link whatsapp automatically produces.

I mean, it is not really necessary, but it's the same when trying to share on FB, so I guess the OG Image is missing. I saw another thread covering this but I am not 100% sure if this is the issue.

Are there any plans on updating this?

akratzel I am not 100% sure if this is the issue.

It's related, yes. Flarum does not implement the protocol for open graph or twitter cards by default. This extension seems to provide them, though.

Hi, I am just looking for the similar extension for the WhatsApp and I have found this gb whatsapp So I had like to use this app instead of WhatsApp because whatsapp doesn't support this extension.

So is it possible to use this app for that extension?
