I’m using the multi-file option.

The live URLs are only used for runtime mode. If you use multi-file, the content of /sitemap.xml will point to somewhere else.

What error are you seeing when accessing /sitemap.xml or one of the files referenced in it?

Just like explained in my previous post, you don't need to know about any other URL. If you point the search engines to /sitemap.xml, it should work no matter which mode was selected.

If you had multi-file already enabled before upgrading, you need to run the command or configure the scheduler for the sitemap to be generated, as described in the update notes.

clarkwinkelmann Okay, thanks for the clarification. I've never been on the runtime mode before, maybe that's the reason. BTW, everything is working fine with the .xml.

I'm using ispconfig hosting panel. the system php version is 7.4.30 but flarum php version is 8.0.21. isp config supports multiple php versions and can be selected any version desired for each site. I've selected 8.0 for flarum but it's not recommended to change system php version so it's still 7.4.30.

so because of system php version I can not update to 2.0. is there any way to upgrade it this way?

luceos after I update sitemap to 2.0.1 with command usr/bin/php8.0 /usr/bin/composer require fof/sitemap, after that composer wanted to run every command with php 8.0 like php flarum cache:clear, it is refusing to work php7.4 anymore.

Flarum admin dashboard shows that I am usi g PHP v8.0.21. php -v shows v7.4.x

How to force composer to use 8.0?

usr/bin/php8.0 /usr/bin/composer require fof/sitemap

for you, folders may be different.

after you run command above, after then composer requires php8.0 for every composer command. so if you are using cron jobs, change it to /usr/bin/php8.0 flarum fof:sitemap:build

murdocklawless yes, if you have any extension installed that needs PHP 8.0, then you'll have to run everything Flarum with 8.0, even if the specific action doesn't seem to involve that particular extension. The webserver, PHP commands and Composer commands must all run with the same PHP version. This includes the CRON job entry as well!

On most hostings, you can change the default PHP version for the command line if you have multiple installed. Look for the setting if you have a managed hosting web UI, or on many Linux distributions check out the "update alternatives" utility. If you don't use the older PHP versions for anything else, you might also be able to uninstall them completely.

My flarum and all extensions just installed with PHP8.0 and i can't update "Sitemap" to v2
Can someone help me?
If i uninstall this extension and reinstall it, can i get latest version?!

masihdindar what's the output of the composer require fof/sitemap:"*" command? Do you get any error?

You can try remove with Composer and then install again, but it shouldn't be much different from running the require command directly.

clarkwinkelmann remove then installing again just solved the issue. hmmm, i don't know what's wrong with that.
When i tried to upgrade it in normal way it just output a message like when an extension is already in latest version, but "Sitemap" was not latest version and it says it is. however i just upgraded with uninstall and reinstall again.

r4nchy you can use either one. If you have the option, I recommend going directly for 8.1 since it will be supported for longer.

Both Flarum and this extension will work on PHP 8.0 and 8.1 (and 8.2 when it comes out)

Fantas you need to enable the extension in the admin panel before you can run any of the extension commands. Is the extension enabled?

I installed the FoF sitemap plugin but it's not showing in Extensions section. Also example.com/sitemap.xml shows nothing 404.

I am using Apache2 for web server.
