Interesting. Google Chrome could add automatic image lazy loading. I think it makes sense. Browsers should automatically find the fastest way to load a page. As long as the browser isn’t messing with the look of my site, I say load it however you want as long as it’s fast.

This native Lazy Load seems ready to use on Chrome 76 and i think that we lost nothing if we try to add it directly to the core or at leat using an extension.

Don't we need to know the width/height of the image to prevent jumping in the infinite scrolling pages tho ? It's not something Flarum can currently do with bbcode/markdown links.

Right now it can already cause some jumps while the page loads because of that. But with lazy-loading it might be even more noticeable.
