Installing Flarum on GoDaddy Hosting

hunochma If you mean working on GoDaddy, then no. I didn't test GoDaddy beyond getting Flarum up and running. With that said, I have gotten it to work and GoDaddy shouldn't introduce any obstacles. There are Flarum Extensions that can help you get email configured. If you have any questions about using them, feel free to read through the other threads on this topic or start a new thread if those don't answer your questions.

Ahtesham1234 This discussion is the tutorial. Check the first post. The person you tagged asked about emails, which wackyMole didn't test. You can use an external provider, however, if you can't get GoDaddy's email to work. Mailgun is a popular one.

Do you mean GoDaddy's Managed Wordpress solution? Managed Wordpress "do not provide access to a control panel". Do you have access to your domain through SSH?

I have a one of the Linux plans on which I have been able to install Flarum.

Moderocky Nope. But PHP worked. Can you receive emails without using SMTP?

GoDaddy provides email services. I guess that is why they block their SMTP ports...

SMTP is a protocol that uses standard port numbers. You'll want to try all the major ports for sending mail and see if they have them all blocked without using their service.

25, 465, 587. Try those 3.

@jordanjay29 @hunochma thank you we have setup FLARUM on our domain and waiting eagerly to get a final ver so we can launch our website.

ccsol if you follow our advertising guidelines, then you should be fine. There a Showcase tag under Resources that is the correct spot for showing off your Flarum.
