Configure SMTP UI

I look forward to giving this extension a go, but am encountering the following error when attempting an install.

[InvalidArgumentException] Could not find package vingle/flarum-configure-smtp at any version for your minimum-stability (beta). Check the package spelling or your minimum-stability

Any suggestions on how to fix this? I haven't encountered when installing other extensions. Thanks!

UaMV ~~It's possible your stability isn't set to beta. Check that~~

 "minimum-stability": "beta"

~~appears near the end of your composer.json file in the Flarum root folder.~~

EDIT: Scratch that, I'm getting the same and the above is set.

The package: https://packagist.org/packages/vingle/flarum-configure-smtp does not have any version released yet, so the only way of installing is like this:

composer require "vingle/flarum-configure-smtp dev-master"

Please tag your release with at least a beta version, using:

git tag 0.1.0-beta.1
git push --tags

Make sure that before you do that, your webhook for packagist is in place on your gitlab.

while we are on this topic, which free smtp providers exits + easy to set up? 've tried amazon and mailgn with no success i.e my forum doesn't send registration emails

BinhQuang don't you need to make changes in DNS or something? And the 'mymail' is @flarumdomain.com or @maildomain.com

Thank you so much for this, this is amazing. I'm stupid with phpmyadmin and my host was running some ancient version so I couldn't get it working myself.

@BinhQuang , you have forgotten to change (or allow changing) mail_driver to smtp (the default value is : mail).
And for this reason your extension does not work on a new installation, the user has still to edit manually this field in the database ?

Could you add this, please ?

Well... No answer after 12 days, so I did the job :

BUT :
It is unfinished because :
1. The default value shown is "null", and it should be "smtp"
2. You can enter anything in the field and this is DANGEROUS. If you enter an invalid value, the forum will not load (blank page). It should be a drop down box with two possible values : mail or smtp.

Can anyone finish the job, or give me the indications to finish it. Thanks.
