Reddit feature / Custom fields

To add a reddit feature to Flarum, I would add custom fields to the thread first message as a first step (for instance fields such is_link, votes). Then different views/assets would be loaded...

I didn't dig in Flarum's code yet but to those who did: would an extension allow me to do this or would I need to change the flarum's core files?

younes0 Yes you can extend Flarum in a lot of ways. If you have more specific questions we gladly answer them.

Custom fields can be added by creating migrations for your extension.
