freeflarum.com: Nothing coming to email

I set up a test forum on freeflarum but so far no mail is received notifying me of any posts or replies. The instructions say it works out of the box, so I assume it means I do not need to configure anything, open a mailgun account, etc. Or am I mistaken. My settings right now are only two:
Someone renames a discussion I started Web
Someone locks a discussion I started Web

Before there were a lot more, but they have disappeared.

Then there is the EMAIL page with SMTP Server and Host 127.0.0.1 and noreply+galesig@freeflarum.com as sender, but nothing ever arrives. Any suggestions? They told me to ask here.

So let me clarify:

If you are using the freeflarum.com information as filled out, we can't help you. That's something @Sanguine will have to take care of.
If you want to configure another mail provider, you can look at mailgun for instance, there are several discussions around this forum about how to configure it 👍️

Thanks... Will come back tomorrow as not at home now.... But i was reading somewhere that it works out of the box, which got me confused. I will take a look. (Not sure where but it definitely said it works out of the box....) Ok will look at suggestions for maligun, etc. (Just for clarification, when I wrote to freeflaum someone named Groots answered and sent me back here. But Sanguine is also from them??? ).

I guess I should have the other questions about notifications answered there on the FreeFlarum forum, assuming it is not a general issue.

I see......I read this: "Your FreeFlarum forum is ready to send mail out of the box, using the Mailgun service. These are the default settings (under Administration > Email), that you should not have to touch:"

I interpreted that freeflarum USES the service and I do not have to touch anything. This means, presumably, that I HAVE TO set it up, but I used the settings listed? very confusing sentence, or very poor reading on my part.

Ok...will look for how to do that.

Stop double posting please. This is becoming confusing very fast. Assuming that @Sanguine mailed that sentence, I revert to by initial standpoint: mail is configured by freeflarum, we can't help you with that.
