There is a way to be notified by email about reported posts or topics?

I have the same question, is there any way to send an email when a post is flagged? I'm asking in relation to the "First Post Approval" extension since it works by adding flags to new posts and it would be much better for mods to receive an email for new posts that need approval immediately, in order to make for a smoother experience for new users which may get frustrated waiting for approvals.

We also would like moderators/admins to get a email notification when a post has been reported.

OwenMelbz I have good news for you: there is a solution!
The solution is the extension Subscribed by FriendsOfFlarum

You need install the extension than go on the admin dashboard and find the extension and decide his permission.. for example if you want allow moderators to be informed... than you simply open the profile of desired mod or admin and you will see you will have options to subscribe when a post is flagged.

Hi - This package errors for us.

Inside the code it runs

$flag->actor->id

However when you look at the Flag model the relationship is called user not actor e.g.

public function user()
{
    return $this->belongsTo(User::class);
}

peopleinside At a blind guess, the code is "hoping" that "actor" gets injected into the Flag some how?

Can you see from the source code how it accesses the wrong method? It seems like "by luck" it works rather than by design. You can see from the source code its wrong, later on it accesses. $flag->user correctly

OwenMelbz sorry, I don't understand the source of code. I simply use the Subscribed extension, if this is not working for you, you need search help from developers.

peopleinside Hi, Thats fine, I'm just stating that he feature, contains a bug thus wont work for us.

The bug exists because it's using $flag->actor instead of $flag->user which isn't set when you're running a queue worker to dispatch the notifications 🙁
