lubobill1990 Great job guys! I'm so excited about this release! Hope I can be a contributor one day when I excelled at this project.
tlalok Hi, for the docker users work in progress (soon) https://github.com/mondediefr/docker-flarum/pull/34
matteocontrini Should we expect the beta 8.1 to be released soon-ish? Do you recommend waiting for it, thus upgrading directly from beta 7 to beta 8.1?
jordanjay29 matteocontrini If you are put off by the bugs reported so far and want to perform only one upgrade? Then yes, I recommend waiting. If nothing else, it will give extensions a chance to catch up.
Star A little personal opinionοΌIt would be great if flarum could have a fixed logo icon like discourse when a website URL is added to mobile desktop bookmark.
jordanjay29 TOWUK_ru Yes, this was fixed in a patch several months ago and is included in Beta 8. We wouldn't leave you stranded on PHP 7.1. π
TOWUK_ru jordanjay29 I'm just when to download beta 7.2 in the instructions it is indicated that php 7.2 is not supported and I had to install on php 7.1)
Frink TOWUK_ru as stated at https://flarum.org/docs/install.html#server-requirements, it says PHP 7.1+ with the following extensions: dom, gd, json, mbstring, openssl, pdo_mysql, tokenizer
jordanjay29 TOWUK_ru Your post was Split out to this discussion. This release announcement is not for specific support problems.
Brightside56 Epic. Seems like 0.1.0-beta.7.2 unable to install now normal way because it requires flarum/core: 0.1.0 (which is from beta 8 now) π
Troplo YES FINALLY! I have been waiting forever for this release, so happy it got released. π π
