You're best off opening an issue on the s9e Text Formatter repository, as this extension only uses its built-in embedding functionality.

Internet archive (Archive.org) is listed as one of the sites supported by the MediaEmbed but for some reason embed feature doesn't work for PDFs.

With the latest version we get a Video not available when linking to YouTube content. You guys have any idea?

Almost with every youtube video.

Tall I’ve had this problem and solved it by changing some referer policy in the config.php by an advice from someone else on the forum. Search for it, I can’t find it. But here’s the snippet in mine:

I tested the same situation in a private discussion 🙂 A video that I have embed on WordPress, is not showed on Flarum.

Don't know why.

Don't think Vevo done that tbh. Others sites doesn't seem to have this issue

CyberGene This works, I'm asking if the fix can be done at extension level to avoid this issue without have to manually change the Flarum config.php file.

aravinth when you have the extension active and the settings active on your profile just copy and paste the video URL in the post than send the post and the video should be showed.

I am using Flarum 1.2.p with Php 8.1 on a shared hosting platform and CloudFlare, but the youtube links are not expanded.

I have changed config.php as suggested, but no luck.

Autoimage and Autovideo are enabled in the admin panel.

What should I do to make it work?

Flarum's default referrerPolicy value is extremely strict. There's nothing we can do in this extension, the value has to be changed in config.php. Extensions overriding values from config.php probably aren't wise as it would cause confusion to the forum owner. We have considered changing the default value in a future Flarum version though, but not sure where we stand on that.

clarkwinkelmann In this case maybe a good idea add a note in the first message with "MORE INFO" in this thread @FriendsOfFlarum about solve the problems with videos.

if you add an image from imgur.com some prefix is being added at the end of the link like #NLjeNsP

AlborWorld you should enable "MediaEmbed". Autovideo is for links to video files, not to video services such as YT.
