Hi friends,

does clicking on the embed Imgur work correctly for you? When clicked, the URL redirects correctly, but Imgur only shows a black screen with privacy information. If I copy the URL to the browser manually, Imgur displays the image without any problem. See the embed Imgur in this thread:

Everyone with iframe issues, you can probably fix them by changing your referrerPolicy configuration in Flarum config.php

There's unfortunately no universal answer. We should probably come up with a recommendation to paste in the README but the best setting for you will depend on which embeds you actually use and whether you need all features that those embeds provide. This is a privacy tradeoff.

I installed this package, and followed this guide Media embed
direct links like youtube or mp4 is work.

but this is not working:

i want to use <video> html tag instead of using direct link.

is there any solution for this?

bimbim AutoVideo is only for converting links into a player. There's no HTML-like or bbcode syntax. You'll have to use or create another extension for that.

What is the correct syntax to include a YouTube URL (that you pray will turn into an embed) within the body content of a post that you create via the API (/api/discussions)? I've tried a number of options, but most strip the youtube URL. I've tried markdown, bb_code, raw url, and even the rendered html verbatim:

The last comes closest. 🙂

It looks like the "Autovideo" option is not giving an embed of youtube on my site.

I was worried about possible conflicts with other extensions so I deployed a trimmed down version, but no luck.

Below is a link to a post with the URL I want to embed as a youtube video.
