Tapao what exactly is the problem? It is overflowing horizontally, or just vertically?
I don't think limiting the character count will fix that, because what amount would we set? Too short and you can't write anything, moderately long and there's already so many ways to break the system by just inputing garbage.
A combination of ellipsis and scrollbars is probably the best solution to avoid bad actors breaking the website layout.
An additional option could be to have a customizable maximum character count. It would be a nice option to have. I just don't think it would specifically fix this issue for websites that want long bios.
