I've installed this extension on the Flagrow forums and it's great!

What I'd love to see is a way to add a webhook that adheres to a certain permission group. For instance right now enabling the Discussion Created event for a private tag would push to the webhook which might be a public discord channel for instance. Being able to specify two different webhooks endpoints based on permission group would be lovely.. This might also make a great PRO feature btw 😉

Hi, I installed the extension and the first day I tried it if it sent the message to my Discord server.

Today I tried to create a post and messages are no longer sent to Discord. The error that appears in the extension is the following:

HTTP 400 - 0 BAD REQUEST (https://discordapp.com/api/webhooks/551582774021193743/uVqr4Mihbxhv611UCgG_EZjP7GEiY6MfTLWxtlgv_gGHLtbpYESBw9BzSDjqkipYZimO)

Any idea why this can happen?

Hasslek Hm, it may be because the content of one of the fields is too long, or something similar. I'll probably make it so it saves more information on the error in the DB and then you can expand the info in the dashboard so you get the HTTP response as well.

the post length was short (I created a test post with one word only) and it didn't work that way.
The extension did work when it was installed but it stopped working after that.

I am using Webhooks by ReFlar well, but want some features like topic selection to send.

For example, don't send channel message when don't show to main page checked.

Seia This would require event configuration, and while it's completely possible, it most likely would be added to Webhooks Pro, as it would take a ton of time and effort.

This isn't working for me... I paste the webhook url given by Discord into the webhooks settings & press enter. Then, after a reload, the text box is blank again... Am I doing this wrong?

Suggestion: a custom outgoing webhook feature where users can put in their own URL, should they have a service there that knows how to handle the requests.

Example use case: someone could make a python script that sends push notifications to their box / mobile from the custom webhook

Just a small hint for people like me, trying to build the URL for Discord with clientId and token themself:
Don't go to developer-website. Just go to "Server-Settings" and then click on "webhooks" in the DiscordApp.

New postings in restricted Categories (only visible for Admin/Mods) are also posted to discord with the webhook. I think this should not be possible, because postings in restricted categories should be hidden from public. What do you think?

One member on my forum just compromised his valuable private information, not knowing that post from a restricted tag is shared on Discord too.

@datitisev when you got time please check this security oversight. Webhook should only work for tags that have "View discussions" permission set on "Everyone". Thank you.

Add selector to choose between Guest and Admin groups
- webhooks default to Guest-viewable posts & discussions - you WILL need to change it if you want to see all
- hasn't been very thoroughly tested, but the only new behavior is with the Guest option chosen
- guest only affects posts & discussions
- admin group will show everything

Hopefully this fixes most of the complaints that I saw.
