KJeido Nodeloc And is it possible to have a page that shows which users were invited by whom? I also want the same feature.
GreXXL Nodeloc my suggestion is to create aProposals so this does not get lost. Resources are scarse in FoF. Having good proposals highly voted on - and/or running as aBounty will give them more attention.
davetodave178 1.1.5 Update to fix support when FoF Direct Links is enabled by https://github.com/ahneale in FriendsOfFlarum/doorman57
edouard-gv Has it been tested with flarum 1.8? I am on 1.4 and preparing migration to 1.8 this summer.
GreXXL edouard-gv I recommend to update your forum on a test stage then you don't have to ask in every extension thread. But yes this extension works.
luceos edouard-gv you can check https://flarum.org/extensions to see if an extension is likely to work with 1.8.
akrimony12 Can this work with "FoF OAuth"? Meaning, that when a user gets an invite, they're able to then sign up using social media accounts like Google, Facebook? Anyone been able to achieve that?
Kabir Can every registered user create an invite code? Does it display invitation details in the user profile, such as which user was invited by whom and which users they have invited?
14569 FriendsOfFlarum It is recommended to add a function that allows users to generate invitation codes by themselves. Based on permissions (users can generate invitation codes, users can customize invitation codes, and users can send invitation emails), so that there is no need to use the admin panel to generate invitation codes.
RelicSystem 14569 do you want users to be able to invite other users or is it strictly admin invite only. This would be a question that only you can really answer. If users can invite users, then the invited users can also invite other others. However if the admin and/or a specific select group can invite users then only the users that group invites can be invited, it really depends on what kind of speakeasy style discussion board you are running.
14569 RelicSystem I want any user to invite other users to register for the forum, but in the long run, a better forum should have a trust level, and each trust level is assigned a group. When the user is active, their trust level will increase and the assigned group permissions will be higher, so it is necessary to set specific group permissions to only allow active users to invite others. Just like Discourse
