A Flarum extension that restricts sign-ups to user's who have a code created in the admin panel.

Each code can be set to have a maximum number of uses, what group the user should be automatically added to on sign up, and whether or not the user should be automatically activated.

Usage

Setup sign-up codes on the admin panel

Installation

beta 14 and above

Install with composer:

composer require fof/doorman

Then login and enable the extension.

To Do

Allow already signed up users to create codes for others to use (referrals)

Welcome, FriendsOfFlarum! Could you add the option of `Invite Code (optional)`?

What would it look like?

After selecting this option in the admin panel, the user could leave the code field blank during registration and register without entering the code.

It is recommended to add a function that allows users to generate invitation codes by themselves.
Based on permissions (users can generate invitation codes, users can customize invitation codes, and users can send invitation emails), so that there is no need to use the admin panel to generate invitation codes.

Can two (or more) groups be set for new user during his registration i.e. one without the code and the other with the code; OR one code for multiple groups?

JC_ProPlus Make sure you're running the command in your Flarum root folder.

I would love if I could use this AND be able to have default user sign up. This way, we could have quick-invite codes for members of our community to get them into their groups automatically and still allow public signups.

Please run:

composer update reflar/doorman

In your root Flarum dir

Clear your browser and Cloudflare (If Applicable) caches after updating. This will ensure the localizations propagate

Please allow Bazaar 60 minutes to pull the update

Kyrne Thank you for this quick update takin account of my PR.

Now I am noticing some display problems on the admin settings page : in german because strings are much longer the wrap to new lines.
Is it ok if I rewrite the css using flex-box ?
