FriendsOfFlarum it would be nice if a feature is added to the "start new discussion" window. where users need to view a warning message and then hit agree to start a new discussion.

the "Discussion Template Extention" does help the situation because users are not deleting the default text, they could not able to understand how it works.

sorry to mention you @datitisev I was looking for this feature for a couple of weeks since you are the original author I thought of asking you once. If you find some time could you please add this small feature "start discussion warning message" I would be very happy to buy you beer 🍻

Very very smart idea, good job. Only a little question, the warning appears for all users (also guests) or only registered users can see it?

Zeokat The warning appears when the composer is opened to reply to a discussion. Guests cannot open this composer, when opening it Flarum shows the log in modal, and therefore won't see the warning.

I just thought that this Extension could also be used to "auto close" old threads. This could be extended e.g. in a 2 Step approach: "14 days" --> Warning this is an old Thread and after "28 days" --> Thread is closed

- Edit these through the extension settings modal
  - didn't make it through the tag edit modal as that would involve a ton of clicking, do provide feedback on this though

What approval? If you mean approval after posting, that's added by flarum/approval, not this extension.

And why would you want to only show the message in discussions that are not considered old? The whole point of this extension is to prevent posting in old discussions and encourage people to make their own about their problem instead of resuscitating an old discussion.

YUX-IO Uh, not sure why you are getting this error - the fof/extend package should be installed when installing fof/prevent-necrobumping. Can you check that the folder vendor/fof/extend exists? If it does (or even if it doesn't) try reinstalling the extension with composer.

EDIT: Seeing as you are getting a similar error with fof/pwned-passwords, I'm not sure what the issue is.
