Imgur Upload, simple image upload from the editor

Thanks. it is not extension problem. Imgur has abondend my country. i tried with VPN its work properly.

Someone know how to increase images upload size? somethimes give error so i think is a too big pic. Thanks

Umbe Check your php config and possibly your nginx config files that is where I had to change mine.

Umbe MikeJones this extension uploads directly to Imgur so there's no need to change anything on the server. Imgur doesn't enforce any limits as far as I know, but they shoild compress images over a certain threshold 🙂

MikeJones maxupload in php.ini is 150 btw i use apache.

I have to edit this php.ini: /etc/php/7.4/cli/php.ini or this: /etc/php/7.4/apache2/php.ini ?

matteocontrini My bad, I think I thought this was the other upload extension lol.

But, possible counter point. Does the extension not use your servers php to push the file to imgur? Couldn't your php settings act as a choke point?

MikeJones not it doesn't, it uploads images directly to the Imgur API from your browser

Hi, I'm new & newbie using FreeFlarum. After Flarum upgrade, this extension is not working correctly. The upload status is Done ✅ but there's nothing in the editor box like the URL or something like that.

And in the admin section of this extension, the Setting button can not be opened. Can you fix this? I'm sorry if this is the wrong section for asking help.

Duhayma that means that the extension is not yet compatible with new beta.15 admin menu. You have to wait and when author releases a fix, we'll patch it at FreeFlarum

yunling did you follow these instructions? 🙂

matteocontrini After enabling the extension, you will be prompted to set the Imgur Client ID. You can get one with your Imgur account here. Be sure to select "Anonymous usage without user authorization" in the form. Also note that there's apparently a bug in the interface, so you might need to select the second option and then the third option, otherwise you will be asked to fill the "Authorization callback URL". If you're having issues with the creation of the dev application, reply here and I'll help.
