matteocontrini therealsujitk this extension currently uses the standard API, and the API key must be set by the forum administrator. It could be possible to add support for the commercial version of the API, but I'm afraid I won't be able to do this in a short period of time. I'm currently very busy with university studies...
barkinarga Is there any alternative upload web site because imgur is banned on some countries. So we can't use this great extension.
clarkwinkelmann barkinarga you can try Flagrow upload that supports other third-party hosts as well as self-hosting https://discuss.flarum.org/d/4154-flagrow-upload-the-intelligent-file-attachment-extension
barkinarga clarkwinkelmann Oh I see, so we can use cdn services, im okay right now but if its not that hard an alternative of imgur must be added.
aleveltech Can somebody add https://sm.ms as a image upload website in this extension? Both AMAZON S3 and IMGUR is not available at my country. I am trying but my programming skill are not so good
Littlegolden aleveltech I think this is feasible, but it requires the sm.ms API. The open source software PicGO supports sm.ms. Maybe you can find the clue here.
rehitu I am using this extension on my forum and I can see the images before publishing as a preview however when I published the images they are invisible. Please check my last post Normally there are two images link there however they are invisible. Waiting for your helps.
henryonsoftware I got this problem {"data":{"error":"Invalid client_id","request":"\/3\/image","method":"POST"},"success":false,"status":403}when I try to upload image. I set the client ID already in admin setting extensions.
matteocontrini henryonsoftware sorry, I missed this message. You should make sure the Client ID value is correctly set. There's no other way, if the error says that it means it's not correct unfortunately
facteurpat hello, can this extension work by serving the images on the local storage instead of using Imgur as an external service? I would use this extension inside my company, but I cannot use external service since the information might be sensitive.
matteocontrini facteurpat being called "Imgur Upload", no, it's not a feature and probably will never be 🙂 There's currently FoF/upload for that.
danielunited @matteocontrini Really awesome extension! Can you disable links to Imgur on photos? Or at least make that an option?
rahullama Ranger how to do this? I want to add this in my Flarum forum but cant. I dont know any coding.
aleveltech For those regions that cannot access Imgur, I have created a fork and added the feature for using own proxy_pass(Is that so called?) address for people to replace https://api.imgur.com and https://i.imgur.com.
Skyswipe While this cool, what would be cooler is if someone can CTRL+V an image directly into a post without having to hyperlink it. That is, there are some forum extensions that will automatically upload the image to imgur and then retrieve that link. This makes it very convenient for the user to directly paste in the chat without having to go to imgur first and upload.
clarkwinkelmann Skyswipe FriendsOfFlarum Upload has that feature EDIT: though it seems that extension is supposed to have it as well based on the description? I'm not using it so I'm not sure.
