Franz Don't be sorry. Rushing to meet deadlines is how terrible software is created. When its ready it'll be ready. Despite my own impatience, I'd much prefer a solid core later, then a unstable one earlier.

So I haven't known about Flarum for very long, I happened to come across it while browsing the web in my class. I think it looks very promising and I can't wait to get an install of my own up and running. Unfortunately I have a very limited programming experience (I'm a designer after all!), and kept coming across errors in the Vagrant installation that I wasn't able to track down a solution for!

So I'm really looking forward to the betas and being able to test it out myself! It looks wonderful!

spriteclad Me too! I used to hate the idea of forum because of BBCode and bland looking vBulletion or phpBB forums. Flarum makes me want to participate in a forum! Noice!

TimDum I believe it was originally planned for the middle of July, but it's being pushed back until the end of July to ensure it's in a stable enough state.

If you're just looking to test the software to see it's capabilities, you can head over to the project's Github page and install the software using Vagrant and Virtualbox.

I guess it's best to wait for an official word, but I wouldn't recommend using a beta product in a production envrionment.

Berlyn We are willing to try the forum in a production environment, we have a great tech team, so we are confident that we will be able to solve any problems that occur. I'm sure that it will be more than helpful for the Flarum Community + @Toby to have another live example of Flarum ! Don't worry, we are adventurers.
And anyway, we distribute board games, our public are geeks and won't be too afraid if we do face problems :-)

TimDum If you're feeling up for it, go for it. That's the beauty of FOSS. If you're focused on developmental improvements, be sure to submit pull requests to the Github repo for the things you fix, if they are enabled? I'm not even sure.
