poVoq rant this is really my main annoyance with the Flarum ecosystem... too much careless drive-by user-tracking and GDPR violations build into extensions. rant

This is unfortunately a common theme - it's not just the Flarum ecosystem. WordPress does this all the time. Not great for privacy, but in fairness to developers, their job is to deliver a stable framework, and the privacy aspect is our concern.

              Hello,

              The extension is great (a good way to avoid the use of signatures), but I find a little weird how it displays on you own user profile (when you check it yoruself), once you have set some buttons:

              While other users see that:

              As users profiles are usually not visible for offline users, members will have absolutly no idea how it renders for other users, if it worked, etc. I can only check it here because i have a test profile on my forum.

              Wouldn't it be more pratical, when you read your own profile, to display it for instance like that?

              (note that i used a little css on this, so the exact aspect won't be the same for everybody)

              Is it possible to automatically add buttons to the Social Profile if the user is authorized via
              FoF OAuth or Steam Auth. ( Third party login only - Extension)

              So that the user does not have to add profiles manually.
