Sign Up Button by Kvothe

Since a few people requested it I made a small extension, that just adds a Sign Up Button to the Navigation for non-logged-in users. This currently doesn't do anything else and has no settings to change. It is also my first extension 🎉 , so tell me if I did anything wrong.

Use Bazaar or install manually with composer:

Just trying it out, even though we already added buttons to the welcome banner. I'm getting these texts after installing it.

Already tried disabling/enabling, as well as clearing the cache. I'll uninstall it now, since we've found a solution, but make sure this gets fixed.

Victor12 Thanks for reporting. The language file was missing. Should be fixed now.

Kvothe Still not fixed for us. Already tried updating, reinstalling, clearing the cache. Any ideas? We would like to get rid of the header Sign Up button we added and use your extension.

How about replacing the "Start a discussion" button with the sign up button when not logged in?

You're right I got something with the versioning wrong. Now it really should work 🙂

Is there a slight displacement under the tags page, is it my individual phenomenon?

Just installed! One issue though:

If you are using the Flagrow ads extension it shows the signup button under the add which is way low on the page, if not in mobile view.

Also, I would love an option to have this only enabled when in a mobile view mode!

MikeJones Good recommendation. I also would like to see an option for just being used on mobile. Or just replacing the Start Discussion button with Sign up on desktop as @Kakifrucht has recommended.

One more suggestion after testing with flagrow ads. In mobile view it shows up above the ad. I think it may look better if it showed up underneath the ad.

MikeJones In v0.1.4 it should now show up under the ad. But it only works when you don't replace the "Start DIscussion"-Button. Otherwise it shows up on top, That's because mobile & desktop use the same order and with the discussion button replaced, it's on the top-spot on the desktop and therefore on mobile, too.

I would like to have a more elegant solution, but can't think about one.

Would it be possible to let us edit the Sign Up text? We used to have it as “Create an Account”.
