divan Is it possible to keep whitespaces in table? They seem to be stripped off, and columns are too close to each other as a result

White space is not the proper way to acieve a spacing between columns.

White spaces are meant to be ignored according to html standards. if you want a different spacing between columns (and rows if you like), you should use custom CSS.

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong here (I don't think so, but sanity checking 🙂). This extension is installed, enabled, but doesn't seem to do anything. Cache emptied etc etc, yet, all I get for example is just text and pipe symbols - no lovely conversion into tables ?

[deleted] Try disabling this plugin, then disabling any other formatting plugins, then markdown, and then re-enable the extensions. markdown first, then this one and then finally whatever other formatting extensions, there have been weird issues in the past I think regarding the order in which extensions are loaded when it comes to formatting.

Hmm - no joy. Tried a variety, but to no avail.

[deleted] I just found this extension requires FoF Formatting.
Enable the last option of FoF Formatting, than the table will shows.

Littlegolden both extensions actually do the same thing. They both enable the same plugin (PipeTables) inside of the TextFormatter.

This extension additionally adds some CSS for the tables.

If the tables don't render, you might need to clear your formatter cache with php flarum cache:clear or via the clear cache button of the admin panel. FoF Formatting shouldn't be required.
