Suggestion... I think the default should be no new window/tab to get to the admin dashboard. If some folks like that, maybe there could be a switch or extension to make it open in a new window. But, default should be target self. Too many tabs. Too many windows. Too little time to close them all. 😁

I would wholeheartedly support the idea to have site internal links not to open in a new browser window, but the admin dashboard? No, that's absolutely fine with me.

Pollux The reason I don’t like it is especially if I’m troubleshooting and go into the admin a lot, I’ll end up with multiple tabs of my forum because I don’t think about closing them as I go.

What’s the advantage of the admin opening in a new window? I’m genuinely curious. I guess maybe if you have two screens?
