Jishnu Its A known and reported issue that we can not merge something into two digit numbered discussions ex 99.

Try "move post" extension 😍 it has everything you got both merge, split. Idk give it a try.

PS: Frist create a dummy discussion and make tests before using "move extension" 🙂

Right now http links to the original post just fail after merging it.

IanM we could potentially add a migration that reads posts for the mergedDiscussion event post and create Redirect entries for them. Not sure it's worth it?

i am getting this error while merging an approved discussion into an unapproved discussion

usually, we merge new discussions into old, but in this case, the situation was the opposite i was trying to merge old discussion into new

Yes, there is an issue currently with this extension and Flarum 1.3, which is also related to the Move Posts error

@SychO and/or I will be looking into these extensions as soon as possible.

There is no temporary workaround in the meantime, sorry for the inconvenience
