Kylo Most of these small images are badges generated by websites like shield.io / buy me a coffee. Perhaps we can add an option for this extension to allow users to add a whitelist of the source domain name of the picture, fancybox will not add effects to the pictures from the whitelisted domain.

Here's my fork of the extension:

Add close button.
Add new fancy attribute for IMG and URL BBCodes (requires flarum/bbcode extension).
- Use [img fancy=off][/img] for images those you don't want them to get fancy.
- Use [url fancy=iframe][/url] for iframes.
- Use [url fancy=video][/url] for videos (fancyBox supports YouTube, Vimeo & MP4).
Add captions (requires flarum/bbcode extension).
- Use [img title="Caption this."][/img] for images.
- Alternatively, use [url title="Caption this." fancy=video]![](src)[/url] for others.
Fix #5.
Update card layout, make it more playable.
Update all dependencies.
Update README.md

composer require the-turk/flarum-ext-fancybox

Notes:

This package conflicts with squeevee/flarum-ext-fancybox, so you need to remove it first.
It seems like this package is not compatible with reflar/recache (see #4).

Kylo Hello!

I was wondering if your fork will be updated for beta 14. There are a few flarum enthusiasts that are just waiting for this last extension to be updated before moving away from beta 13.

As I said before, my forum relies a lot in images and this extension saves me a lot of headaches when posting many images together.

It seems that the original developer @squeevee is not active anymore so I hope you @Kylo can take a look at this great extension and make it great again!

Kylo it is nice. Can we use image gallery on markdown editor? I use table generator for 2 collumn image area.

fakruzaruret it should work automatically for all images within the post but seemingly it doesn't catch the images those inside a table. Let me see what I can do for it.

wloot Yes this extension works well. But I think flarum forum script should support massonary gallery for images. Currently each images comes in next row/line. It looks not good.

wloot I bet this post has one carriage return between each image. If that so, you have to remove them to get proper layout. (Screenshot)

Edit: I'll try to implement a regex matcher in order to automatically fix these situations.

fakruzaruret Those images are thinner than usual and treated as block images because of carriage returns between them (as expected). I could stretch block images but then it also would look bad either. The only way to fix them is removing carriage returns and turning them into inline images for now.

Edit: I was wrong, these are inline images but somehow, they're behaving like block elements. I will do further investigation.
