UziForex if you're talking about Analytics cookies, it's not correct. You must take consent from the user, not just alert them that you're using cookies. Moreover, you must have a privacy policy page and notify the Garante that you profile users through your site.
If you configure your Analytics service to anonymize users personal information (like the IP address), you still need to have a privacy policy on your website, but you don't need a banner, nor for consent nor for informing the user. The privacy policy is enough.
If you only use technical cookies, so no Analytics, you don't need a banner but only a privacy policy.
If you use advertising platforms that use cookies on your forum, you need to gather prior consent from the user. "Got it" is not enough, no cookies must be installed before the user clicks ok or scrolls through the page.
